Sexuality and the Geek Week: Choice #5 – To Baldly Go…

Category : Geek Moms, Sex and Relationships, TV, Movies, and Music, Uncategorized

For those of us who find the flowing locks of middle earth too much to bear I present to you my two follicley challenged champions:

Captain Jean Luc Picard of the Starship Enterprise

PRO

Is not afraid to love, takes command of every situation with a firm but gentle touch, likes to hike, is well-read and listens to classical music. Would show you the stars and then bring you home to the family vineyard.

CONS

Gets itchy feet and wouldn’t settle down, has a tendency to turn to redheads for comfort, can be overly dramatic and insanely jealous in his declarations of love.

Assistant Director Skinner

PRO

He stands out as a bastion of justice in a corrupt system, he will always come to your rescue no matter what you have done or said to him, non-smoker.

CONS

Rarely says what he actually means, is married to his desk, may be somewhat emotionally scarred by his Vietnam/abduction experiences, prone to night terrors.

Maybe a timeshare would work with these two?

Sarah Pinault is married to her husband but not her job, has a baby that insists on being a toddler, and keeps one foot in the British time zone despite having lived in Maine for 8 years now. She blogs about the meaning of life over at mainemummy.blogspot.com and has been a self-professed geek for well over 20 years.

AD Skinner is frustrated at every turn, & takes those frustrations out on his agents. Sure, ULTIMATELY he is on their side, but he’s a nightmare! No WAY. Picard all the way! Well, after Kirk.

Picard, no contest!
